Before Catenda, the team was scattered across the country.
With the project team geographically dispersed, requests for information, collaboration and real-time communication were everything. The team really was spread out: project management in Arendal, the architects in Oslo, the structural engineer in Trondheim, the contractor and the ventilation and electrical firm in Stavanger, technical advisory in Haugesund, and the building itself going up in Brønnøysund.
Coordinating all of that over email correspondence was slow.

The team divided the work into clear milestones, and every scheduled meeting runs through all the issues in Catenda Hub to keep the project moving. In phase one, design and pre-construction, 13 operative roles work across 13 weeks, each with weekly milestones; the kick-off produced an agreed project plan, and the defined issues went into the Hub with deadlines and assignments.
The project runs nine models, with another four to five planned before construction. The BCF connector enables smooth, effective exchange with Solibri.
What changed once the project had one source of truth.
Collaboration became far more efficient. The platform makes it obvious who does what and who is in charge, replacing the old meeting summaries with a process that's more effective and precise.
Crucially, anyone who needs access can get it easily, so the whole team stays aligned at once, even with team members spread across five different cities.
