Before BIMLOGI, progress lived on paper and site visits.
Traditionally, controlling the production and construction progress of every component meant a manager visiting the site and the factory, then making comments and marks on paper designs based on what they saw.
As a result, it was impossible to convey the latest development information between the parties involved smoothly and in a timely way, leading to costly rework and slow performance driven by poor communication.

BIMLOGI, designed by Kajima Corporation, was developed on Catenda Hub's open API. Kajima strongly supports buildingSMART open standards, which made Catenda Hub a natural fit, its modern, flexible REST-based API gives easy access to IFC data alongside a powerful visualization engine.
BIMLOGI combines each product's unique identity with the virtual objects in the BIM, using QR codes scanned by smartphone at each phase to record progress automatically in the cloud, from production and shipping to site arrival, construction and inspection.
What changed once the project had one source of truth.
First introduced at a Tokyo construction site in April 2020, BIMLOGI let Kajima share each component's manufacturing status and construction progress in real time across all parties involved. Site management became more streamlined, including the virtual elimination of rework and waste.
Because progress data is captured throughout, the system produces a documented digital twin at handover and even supports CO₂-emission tracking toward a lower-carbon supply chain.
