How to connect Slack with Catenda Hub?

Eva

Here is an article to learn how to set up the integration between Slack and Catenda Hub (previously Bimsync). Follow all these steps to connect your favorite tools together!

What is Slack?

Slack is a communication platform that can replace email to help you and your team work together seamlessly. It’s designed to support the way people naturally work together, so you can collaborate with people online as efficiently as you do face-to-face.

Slack Integration

We have developed an integration with Slack because we know that more and more teams communicate through this tool. You can instantly turn updates and progress in your projects into messages in Slack so everyone will have the most up to date information and be able to work from both platforms and stay synchronized. Build up your own integration in Catenda Hub (previously Bimsync) and receive the notifications you need. If you want to keep the whole team in the loop by seamlessly sending messages from Catenda Hub (previously Bimsync) to Slack, this integration is made for you!

How to connect Slack with Catenda Hub?

First, you need to connect to your slack workspace and click on the link customize + your workspace (in this case it is Test).

Then you will have to click on “Menu” in the top left corner, a list will popup as shown on the picture below.

Click on “Configure apps” and on “Custom integrations”. Make sure that you are in the menu “Manage”, as seen in the top right corner. Click on the section “Incoming Webhooks”.
